Redmi Note 11R a rebadged Poco M4 5G?

Where’s newness at?

Redmi launched another addition to their ever-growing Note series – The Note 11R, and the more we look at it the more it reminds us of the Poco M4 5G that hit the shelves a few months back. Time to wear our Holmes hat.
The latest Note smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with Mali G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage. It runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13 and comes with a 6.58in FullHD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This is pretty much the spec sheet on the Poco M4 5G, heck even the textured panel for the rear camera looks the same.
The camera is slightly different though. It has a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP portrait shooter and a 5MP camera at the front. It sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with support for 5G networks. The Redmi Note 11R has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
The smartphone comes in three colour variants – Black, Grey, and Blue, the price would be confirmed once it hits the Indian market.
