Reliance Jio’s new AX6000 Universal Router is a Wi-Fi 6 dual-band powerhouse priced at ₹5,999. As per Jio, on its own, the router can blanket up to 2,000 square feet, and with mesh support, it can scale effortlessly across larger spaces. It offers combined speeds of up to 4,800Mbps and supports over 100 devices at once, making it ideal for 4K streaming, cloud gaming, and smart home setups.
Compatible with all ISPs—fibre, DSL, or broadband—it features Jio’s True AI Mesh along with MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to ensure stable performance and wide coverage. The Jio AX6000 keeps it simple by combining both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands under one SSID, so you won’t need to juggle networks as you move around the house.
It pushes up to 4,800Mbps on 5GHz and 1,200Mbps on 2.4GHz, adding up to a peak theoretical speed of 6,000Mbps. With Wi-Fi 6 onboard, you get better range, more stable connections, and lower latency—even with a house full of connected gadgets.

A standout feature is Jio’s built-in True AI Mesh support, letting you pair up multiple AX6000 units for smooth, whole-home coverage. Under the hood, a quad-core chip handles the heavy lifting, while upgraded LAN ports promise speeds up to four times faster than standard ones—ideal for wired setups that need serious bandwidth.
The router is designed for broad compatibility, working with any existing internet setup via Ethernet—though it only supports IP over DHCP, not IPPOE or PPOE configurations. Setup is straightforward through the JioHome app, available on both Android and iOS.
