Samsung has launched its 'Future Living' ecosystem for smart home and AI-based connectivity between its products in India. As the description suggests, this isn't a single product; this is a technology suite for inter-connectivity among various Samsung devices, using smart home functionality as well as AI-based learning for better and more intuitive automation. In simple terms, Samsung's devices can now talk to each other, and can use AI and machine learning to set up for ease, comfort, and user convenience.
For example, pressing a button on your smartphone can turn off smart lights, turn on the TV and soundbar, and take you straight to your favourite streaming service. Your refrigerator can scan and suggest recipes based on the food inside, and you can also start up a load of laundry in your washing machine directly from the fridge. Geo-fencing support means that your AC could automatically turn on and set itself to the ideal temperature based on your preferences and weather conditions, as soon as you enter specific location or within a close range of your home.

All of this was showcased at the Samsung flagship store in Jio World Plaza in Mumbai. The store has a wide range of Samsung products on display, particularly smart home and AI-based offerings. Of course, for this to work, Samsung will want you to build up an ecosystem with a bunch of Samsung products, but that doesn't seem to difficult given the Korean company's varied product lineups across consumer technology and home appliances.
