Samsung has introduced its latest additions to the Indian smartphone market - the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G. The smartphones offer a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen and come with triple rear camera setups, led by a 50-megapixel primary camera. The Galaxy A25 5G is powered by an Exynos 1280 SoC, while the Galaxy A15 5G runs on an octa-core processor. Both models feature a water drop-style display notch housing the selfie camera.
The Galaxy A25 5G has a 6.5-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A15 5G comes with a similarly sized display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 nits.
Both the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G come with a triple rear camera setup. The Galaxy A25 5G features a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel sensor. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A15 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel shooter. Additionally, both smartphones feature a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G both support dual-SIM (Nano) and operate on the Android 13-based One UI 5. Samsung commits to delivering up to five years of security updates and four years of OS upgrades for these new models.
The Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G offer an array of connectivity options such as 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A25 5G includes speakers with Dolby Atmos technology. These smartphones are equipped with several sensors like accelerometers, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and virtual proximity sensor. Both models also feature a fingerprint sensor for security.
In terms of battery, the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G are powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Samsung claims that these batteries can provide up to 21 hours of video playback time on a single charge.
The Galaxy A15 5G is available in Blue Black, Blue, and Light Blue shades, while the Galaxy A25 5G comes in Blue Black, Blue, and Yellow colour options. The base variant of the Galaxy A15 5G is priced at ₹19,499, while the model with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage costs ₹22,499. On the other hand, the Galaxy A25 5G starts at ₹26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and is priced at ₹29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version.
