Samsung Galaxy M55 5G comes with super AMOLED plus display and a 120Hz refresh rate

Samsung has launched the Galaxy M55 5G in the Indian smartphone market for a starting price of ₹26,999. The 5G smartphone comes with a commitment to provide four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

The Galaxy M55 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The smartphone features a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Plus, it has a 50MP front camera.Samsung says the Galaxy M55 5G comes packed with features to enhance your overall experience. It includes voice focus tech, which reduces ambient noise during calls and a quick share feature that makes it easy to share files with other devices. The smartphone also comes with Samsung Wallet and Tap & Pay, allowing you to tokenize and store your credit and debit cards on your phone.

In terms of battery life, the Galaxy M55 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that keeps you going all day long. Additionally, it supports 45W fast charging.The Galaxy M55 5G is available in three storage variants — 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at ₹24,999, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at ₹27,999, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at ₹30,999.

In addition to the M55, Samsung has also unveiled the Galaxy M15 5G for budget-conscious buyers. The Galaxy M15 5G features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy M15 5G sports a 50MP triple rear camera setup, along with a 13MP front camera and is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. The Galaxy M15 5G is available in two storage variants – 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage priced at ₹11,999, and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage priced at ₹13,499.
