Not everyone can splash the cash for a flagship smartphone with a six-figure price tag. But that doesn’t mean they have to miss out on the best that Samsung has to offer. In addition to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the Korean giant has also announced the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ smartphones.
The Galaxy S22 is the smallest (relatively speaking) in Samsung’s new series with a 6.1 FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display featuring 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. In comparison, the Galaxy S22+ flaunts a 6.6in screen.
Powering the S22 is a 3,700mAh battery with 25W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging support. The S22+ is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with up to 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support.
The rest of the spec sheet remains the same for both the devices. They both get a triple-cam setup (12MP ultra-wide+50MP wide+10MP telephoto) at the back, a 10MP selfie snapper up front, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, 5G support, and IP68 certification.
Prices for the Galaxy S22 start from ₹72,999 (8GB/128GB) and goes up to ₹76,999 (8GB/256GB). Meanwhile the Galaxy S22+ starts from ₹84,999 (8GB/128GB) and goes up to ₹88,999 (8GB/256GB).
