Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023: Galaxy 23 Ultra has an exclusively designed Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Hope not looking through rose-tinted glasses?

After a series of speculations, assumptions and much anticipation, the world has finally received the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series. In this piece, we shall be throwing light on the S23 Ultra, the finest of the three variants.

The smartphone is powered with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy so we expect its AI to be on point and have enhanced performance and speed. As per Samsung, it will have a 40% faster GPU and NPU (than SD 8 Gen 1) exclusively optimised for Galaxy.

Another interesting feature of the new galaxy smartphone is the enhanced Nightography that includes an AI object-aware engine for selfies, dual engine and AI stereo depth map for portraits and improved image stabilisation with adaptive VDIS for better video capturing in low light situations. The S23 Ultra comes with a 200MP primary lens along with 12MP ultra-wide and two telephoto lenses, in addition to the 12MP front camera.

The 6.8in QHD+ AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate makes the device apt for gaming as well as viewing content, and it also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 (just how we expected). Plus, it has real-time ray tracing and a vapour cooling chamber too. The Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a 5000maH battery and superfast charging technology. And, for connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E and UWB.

The device comes in four colour variants, at a starting price of ₹1,24,999.
