Samsung Jet cordless vacuum cleaners launched to take on the Dysons

Dust wars

The war on dust is now well and truly raging. But before you start imagining scenes from the Dune, we should make it clear that we’re speaking of vacuum cleaners. Dysons’ trendy cordless vacuum cleaners have a rival, and it comes from Samsung. The South Korean giants have launched their Jet series in India, which includes the Jet 70, Jet 75, and the Jet 90.
Samsung says that the vacuum cleaners are lightweight and ergonomically built to reduce strain on users’ wrists. The Jet 70 weighs 1.48kg, while the heaviest is the Jet 90 at 1.89kg.
The vacuum cleaners are able to generate up to 200W suction power, and use a Jet Cyclone system with 27 air inlets to suck and trap the minutest of dust particles. A multi-layered filtration system purifies the air being sucked in, and releases clean air out the back. Helping the cleaning process are various brush attachments like soft action brush, turbo action brush, mini turbo brush, and spinning sweeper among others.
Samsung claims that the cleaners are equipped with batteries that are able to offer up to an hour's worth of suction. The Jet 70 and Jet 75 come with a charging station that can be wall mounted. The Jet 90, on the other hand, gets a standing ‘Z Station’ where you can park the vacuum cleaner.
Samsung’s new Jet cordless vacuum cleaner series is priced between ₹36,990 and ₹52,990. The models are available via Samsung’s online store, and soon on Flipkart.
