Apple’s devices stand out for their unique design language, and they all compliment each other. Interestingly, Samsung’s latest product is designed in a way that looks at home in an Apple family. Yes, we’re talking about the Samsung M8 Smart Monitor.
This monitor has a very Apple-ish aesthetic and reminds you of the M1 iMac, but it comes without the eye-watering price tag of the Apple Studio Display. It even gets iMac-inspired colours ranging from white, green, pink, and blue.
The monitor flaunts a 32in screen with 4K resolution, HDR10+ support, and a USB-C interface for pairing with a host machine. A SlimFit Camera is bundled in the box, which clicks to the back of the monitor when you’ve got to attend those office calls.
Being a smart monitor, it can natively stream Netflix among other OTT services, supports apps like Google Docs, and even comes with AirPlay 2. There’s also support for digital assistants like Bixby or Amazon Alexa.
Samsung’s M8 Smart Monitor was showcased at CES 2022 earlier this year, and is now ready to hit the market. It will be available in select regions for $730 (approx ₹55,700).
