Samsung Odyssey Ark is huge in size as well as features

You think size doesn’t matter, think again

If you consider gaming a part of your flesh and blood you would concur bigger the screen better the experience, Samsung does too, hence they came up with what is supposed to be the world's first 55in gaming display, the Samsung Odyssey Ark. And it’s curved!

Size is not the only extravagant feature of this gaming monitor, the 1000R curved screen has a 4K HDR resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate and 1ms of response time. The monitor comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to maximize on-screen accuracy and lend gamers a competitive edge in fast-moving environments.

The Ark features Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology and has 14-bit processing and 16,384 black levels for ultra-realistic graphics. For a better cinematic experience, the gaming screen has Samsung’s Matte Display that offers anti-glare and anti-reflection protection.

The Odyssey Ark comes with Sound Dome Tech featuring AI Sound Booster and Dolby Atmos, there are four speakers, one at each corner, and two central woofers, along with 60W 2.2.2 channel speakers so that even the slightest sound of an enemy approaching is not missed. The multi-view feature allows users to view up to four screens all at once while horizontal and three while in Cockpit Mode. So, it’s good for editing and obviously, racing sims.

The only thing we are concerned about is how well it is going to suit the eyes, sitting too close may hurt the neck or back. But we shall deal with these queries in our in-depth review. For now, this gaming screen comes with a price tag of ₹2,19,999.
