Samsung's latest TV lineup, featuring the Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, and OLED models, has been officially launched in India. The TVs come packed with AI-integrated features and in a variety of sizes, from 55 inches to a whopping 98 inches!
Samsung's top-of-the-line Neo QLED 8K TV is powered by the NQ8 AI Gen 3 SoC with NPU, featuring a significant increase in neural networks compared to previous models. This means smoother and more responsive AI features, as per Samsung. Additionally, the Neo QLED lineup also includes Motion Xcelerator tech, enhancing the gaming experience.
The Neo QLED 8K lineup comes equipped with AI features like AI Picture Technology, AI Upscaling Pro, AI Motion Enhancer Pro, Real and Depth Enhancer Pro, AI Customisation Mode, and AI Energy Mode. It also includes Samsung's AI Sound Tech, which adjusts volume based on background noise. The AI Auto Game Mode identifies games and genres to optimise picture and sound settings automatically. The Neo QLED 8K TVs are available in two models, QN900D and QN800D, with screen sizes ranging from 65 inches to 85 inches.
The Neo QLED 4K series offers QN85D and QN90D variants in sizes ranging from 55 inches to 98 inches. These TVs also feature what is said to be the world's first Pantone Validated TV display for exceptional colour accuracy, along with Dolby Atmos support.
On the other hand, the OLED TVs, available in S95D and S90D models, feature refresh rates up to 144Hz with Motion Xcelerator tech. The S95D and S90D come in sizes ranging from 55 inches to 83 inches and feature glare-free displays.
All new models in the lineup will come with Samsung TV Plus, a free streaming service offering over 100 channels. They also include a built-in IoT hub, enabling you to control your smart home devices directly from the TV. Furthermore, the TVs offer a Smart Mobile Connect feature, letting you use your smartphones as a universal remote for the TV and connected home appliances. Samsung Knox security is also integrated into these models for added security.
As for pricing, the Samsung Neo QLED 8K starts at ₹3,19,990 in India, while the Neo QLED 4K models begin at ₹1,39,990 and the OLED range from Samsung starts at ₹1,64,990.
