Samsung's upping its laundry game in India with the launch of its new Bespoke AI Top Load Washing Machines. Following what they're calling a cracking reception for their Bespoke AI Front Loaders, Samsung's now bringing that AI-powered smartness to the top load category. We're talking about a new range designed to make laundry less of a chore, thanks to some clever artificial intelligence wizardry.
The new top-loaders come in various sizes to suit different households (8 kg, 10 kg, 12 kg, and a hefty 14 kg) and a few different colours to match your bathroom or laundry room decor. You can choose from Black Caviar, Lavender Grey, the newly introduced Deep Charcoal, and Brushed Navy.
A key feature is AI Wash. This tech uses a "3-step sensing" system to figure out what kind of fabrics you've chucked in and how much they weigh and then it automatically picks the best wash settings. The machines also use an AI algorithm to tweak things like water level, how hard it agitates, and how long it washes and rinses. Samsung reckons this can give your clothes up to 25% better care.
Beyond the AI smarts, you also get features like Ecobubble (for gentler washing), Hygiene Steam (to kill bacteria), Super Speed (for quick washes), AI Energy Mode (to save electricity), SmartThings integration (for controlling the machine from your phone), and AI VRT+ (to keep things quiet). Samsung is backing these machines with a 20-year warranty on the Digital Inverter Motor, which is pretty reassuring.
