Samsung Wallet is a one-stop app for all digital transactions, identity validation and to access travel documents

Farewell to those unruly, bulging wallets of chaos!

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is right upon us and just ahead of it, the South Korean technology major got a real treat for all you Galaxy phone users in India. It's time to bid adieu to cluttered wallets because Samsung has conjured up the all-new, all-in-one Wallet app!

Samsung's Wallet app lets you store and easily access 2000+ Digital IDs, including your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, and even Vehicle Registration Certificate. With the new app, your Galaxy phone will also become your financial command center because you can access your UPI accounts, handle bill payments, and even store travel and mobility documents, FASTag, gift cards, and coupons. Need to add train tickets or boarding passes? Just scan the QR or barcode or import images or PDFs directly into your Samsung Wallet!

To get to the wallet all you need is one magical swipe, from the off-screen, lock screen or home screen on your Galaxy smartphones. Your trusty Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass (password manager) content will also now sync up with the Wallet app. So, from making payments with Samsung Pay to managing your passwords with Samsung Pass, it's all right there in your Wallet.

Most importantly Samsung says you don't even have to worry about malware and potential threats because your personal and financial information is Fort Knox-level secure. It has pulled out all the stops to ensure your data stays locked down with secret weapons like tokenization and defense-grade security platform, Samsung Knox. Galaxy smartphone users can update their existing Samsung Pay service to Samsung Wallet through the Galaxy Store. The update is available through auto mode and manual mode.
