Sony has introduced its Bravia 3 series TVs in India, following the recent launch of the Bravia 7 series. These new models feature the 4K HDR Processor X1, designed to upscale non-4K content to near-4K quality with 4K X-Reality Pro. The Bravia 3 series brings to the table Triluminos Pro for vivid and precise colour, Dynamic Contrast Enhancer for richer contrast, Object-Based HDR Remaster for realistic visuals, and Super Bit Mapping to smooth out colour transitions, according to Sony.
The telly gets a Triluminos Pro display with Motionflow XR that ensures smooth motion by increasing image display rates and reducing blur. The Bravia 3 series also supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision for an enhanced viewing experience. For audio, there are X-Balanced Speakers with Dual Bass Reflex.
Gamers will appreciate the Bravia 3 series' HDMI 2.1 support, offering smooth gameplay with Dolby Vision, Auto HDR Tone Mapping, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). The Game Menu ensures quick access to settings and features like Crosshair and Black Equaliser.
The Bravia 3 series also offers an extensive content library with access to over 400,000 movies and TV episodes, along with 10,000 apps and games, and includes a user-friendly interface with “Tab Structure” and “Personalisation” options. Sony Pictures Core adds to the mix with streaming options, Pure Stream delivers HDR content at up to 80 Mbps, and you get movie credits for up to 5 films and 12 months of access to 100 curated movies.
The Bravia 3 series TVs are equipped with Ambient Optimisation, Light Sensor, and Acoustic Auto Calibration, adjusting picture and sound quality to match your surroundings. XR Protection PRO ensures these TVs can weather the storm, offering resistance against dust, surges, and humidity. Available in sizes ranging from 43 to 85 inches, the Bravia 3 range starts at ₹93,990.
