Sony LinkBuds S aim to be the smallest, lightest noise-cancelling earbuds available

But smaller doesn't mean cheaper

Sony is claiming its place in the TWS market by offering perhaps the lightest noise cancelling. Weighing just 4.8 grams each, the Sony LinkBuds S are a lightweight wonder. It may be slightly heavier than its predecessor, but the LinkBuds S makes up for it by packing in significantly more features, technology and quality, which is where the wonder lies.
These buds adopt a closed design, making them look petite. Offering high resolution audio using 5mm drivers, these buds have adopted significantly smaller drivers compared to the previous 12mm drivers on the LinkBuds.
With IPX4 water resistance rating you don’t need to worry about sweat or rain affecting them. They are also reported to have up to six hours of battery life, which goes up to 20 hours courtesy of the case.
Additional features include speak-to-chat mode, which allows users to pause audio while talking, adaptive sound control, which enables earbuds to configure the best audio based on requirements, and hassle-free switching between the ambient mode and noise cancellation mode.
Sony’s LinkBuds S are set to take on the likes of the Apple AirPods Pro, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds. They are priced at €199 (approx ₹16,300), and are available in black, white and beige colours.
