Sony has shown the world its SRS-XV800, a portable, plug-in speaker for when you wish to make some noise. With its Omni-directional Party Sound feature, Sony says the XV800 is able to carry its “powerful sound” to every corner of your room.
It features five tweeters that project sound to both the front and rear of the speaker, combined with Sony's X-Balanced Speaker unit that provides bass. The X-Balanced speaker's rectangular diaphragm design, as per Sony, maximises the speaker's area, resulting in less distortion, clearer vocal clarity and enhanced sound pressure for those low frequencies.
The XV800 also comes with a lighting system that syncs with the beat and rhythm of the music. For those who love to sing or play along, this speaker has a karaoke and guitar input too. So you can let loose your inner rockstar!
When it comes to battery life, the XV800 boasts up to 25 hours of playtime, and with quick charging support, you can get a three-hour boost from just 10 minutes of charging. Plus, it's designed for portability. It has a handle and built-in wheels for when you wish to make noise at someone else’s pad or take the party with you wherever you go.
The XV800 can also be connected to a TV and it's IPX4 rated, so it can handle splashes of water without worry and it comes with Bluetooth Fast Pair support for Android devices. The Sony SRS-XV800 is priced at ₹49,990.
