With monsoons just around the corner, it’s time for that last outdoor party. And right on time, Sony has updated its X-series of party speakers with three new models – Sony SRS XG300, XE300, and XE200.
All three speakers feature Sony’s X-Balanced Speaker Unit and Dual Passive Radiators to offer punchier bass, and less distortion for high-quality sound. Adding weight to its party credentials is what Sony calls the Party Connect mode that allows up to 100 compatible speakers to be paired.
The portable speakers feature a retractable handle for easy carrying, and an IP67 rating that’s perfect for pool parties. They also feature quick charging tech, which gives about 70 minutes of playtime with 10 minutes of charging.
The XG300 is the biggest of the three, and offers up to 25 hours of playtime along with club-like bass and LED lighting. The compact XE300 and XE200 models too can last up to 25 hours, and offer comparable specs and features.
The speakers are available in light grey, black, blue and orange colourways. The Sony SRS XG300 is priced at €300 (approx ₹24,990), the SRS XE300 costs €200 (approx ₹16,600), and lastly the SRS XE200 costs €150 (approx ₹12,500).
