Orange, long known for its no-nonsense, high-performance gear, is diving into the vinyl revival with a bold new release – the O Turntable. Far from a nostalgic gimmick, this UK-crafted record player looks like it's designed for true audiophiles and die-hard vinyl fans seeking both sonic purity and a standout design.
The O Turntable comes equipped with a custom-built PCB and a precision-machined aluminium pulley system that work together to suppress vibrations and keep the platter spinning at a constant, reliable speed. At its core sits a 23mm phenolic platter—hefty and acoustically inert—delivering added rotational momentum and speed stability, all contributing to clean playback that honours the groove of your records.
Its tonearm uses ultra-low-friction bearings and a factory-set anti-skate mechanism for smooth tracking straight out of the box. With a push-fit counterweight and no need for calibration tools, it’s a true plug-and-play experience for anyone who wants premium sound without the hassle of a complex setup.
To make integration seamless, the turntable includes a built-in moving magnet (MM) phono stage and comes pre-fitted with a cartridge featuring a user-replaceable carbon stylus. That means no need for a special phono input—just connect it to any RCA line-in on your amplifier, receiver, or AV system, and you're good to go.

The O Turntable embraces a clean, modern aesthetic with its white gloss plinth, designed with an underside power switch to maintain an uncluttered surface. Subtle yet bold, Orange’s signature branding is stamped on the plinth, tonearm, and cartridge, delivering a touch of their unmistakable identity. Rounding out the package is a custom “Voice of the World” slipmat and a clear dust cover—both functional and fiercely on-brand.
The Orange O Turntable is priced at $699 (Rs. 60,269).
