The Nothing Phone (2) starts at ₹44,999 in India

The highly awaited Nothing Phone (2) has finally made its grand debut. The smartphone maintains a familiar resemblance to its predecessor, the Phone (1) but under the hood, it has a host of new enhancements and a refreshed design. It showcases a sleeker, more curvaceous mid-frame crafted from 100% recycled aluminium, adding a touch of eco-conscious elegance.

The most interesting upgrade is the enhanced Glyph interface. Now, you have the power to assign distinct lighting sequences to individual contacts. Moreover, Nothing's collaboration with third-party apps such as Uber takes things to a whole new level. Imagine having the lights on the back of your device illuminate to indicate the proximity of your ride.

A Glyph Composer has also been added, it’s an ingenious app that empowers you to craft ringtones ranging from 8 to 10 seconds in length, using the Glyph sound pack. The LED lights on the back can also be tailored to display vital information like battery level, and volume level, or even serve as a countdown timer, ensuring you stay informed and in control at a glance.

The device comes equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 6.7in LTPO OLED screen, dynamically adapting its refresh rate anywhere between 1Hz to an astonishing 120Hz.

Powering the Nothing Phone (2) is the Nothing OS 2.0 that, as per the brand, has a plethora of new features to elevate your user experience. You can now personalise app labels, grid design, and even widget sizes, allowing you to truly make the operating system your own.

On the rear,  there is a dual camera setup combining a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens. Nothing has also introduced features like 2X Super-Res Zoom, Motion Capture 2.0, and intelligent tuning effects, all aimed at enhancing the overall image quality. The Phone (2) also now allows you to capture videos in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. On the front, you'll find a 32MP selfie camera that lets you record videos in 1080p at 60 frames per second.

The phone (2) features a 4,700mAh battery, backed by 45W charging technology. With the ability to fully charge the device in just 55 minutes, according to the company's claims. Additionally, the Phone (2) supports 15W wireless charging and even features 5W reverse wireless charging. The Nothing Phone (2) comes for a starting price of ₹44,999.
