The next-generation iteration of the Ultraviolette F77 electric performance motorbike is here, and it take a few big steps forward. The F77 Mach 2 has been launched in India by Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette, and is priced at Rs. 2,99,000 onwards as an introductory price. The new electric motorbike gets some upgrades in the way it works, notably when it comes to regenerative braking, overall range per charge, and various features aimed at making the bike smarter, safer, and more fun to ride. The higher-range, higher-performance F77 Mach 2 Recon variant is priced at Rs. 3,99,000 onwards.
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is up for pre-order already, and deliveries will commence in May 2024 across 15 Indian cities in a phase-wise manner. The electric motorbike comes with various features meant to enhance safety and the overall riding experience, including traction control, 10 levels of regenerative braking, and dynamic stability control. The bike can deliver up to 40.2hp and 100Nm of torque, setting it apart considerably from other similarly-priced motorbikes in the segment, both electric and petrol-powered.
For smart connectivity, the bike comes with anti-collision warning systems, towing and fall alerts, and more. The claimed range for the Recon variant is up to 323km per charge, suggesting that riders can take the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 on much longer rides without any range and charging anxiety. The fast charger can deliver a 20 percent to 80 percent charge in under an hour, too.
