Vivo V29 series smartphones come with a curved screen design and smart Aura light

Time to dive into the hype!

Vivo, after generating a whirlwind of anticipation, has officially introduced its V29 series to the Indian smartphone market. This series has two smartphones — the Vivo V29 and the Vivo V29 Pro.

Both the smartphones have a sleek and fancy design. Plus, they've got a curved screen that (kind of) screams "premium”. On the rear, there are three camera lenses, an LED flash, and the smart Aura light. The V29 comes with a 50MP primary camera, complete with OIS, an 8MP wide-angle sidekick and a 2MP bokeh lens to round out the crew. Meanwhile, the V29 Pro steps it up a notch with its own 50MP primary camera featuring OIS, a 12MP portrait lens and an 8MP wide-angle lens. And, there’s a 50MP front camera on both of these devices.

Both the Vivo V29 and the Vivo V29 Pro come with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Plus, they've got the HDR 10+ certification, a peak brightness of 1300 nits and a pixel density of 452 PPI.

Under the hood, the V29 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, while the V29 Pro rocks the MediaTek Dimensity 8200. The phones pack a 4600 mAh (TYP) battery with 80W flash charge support, which, as per Vivo, means you can go from 0 to 50% in just 18 minutes when it's time to refuel.

The V29 comes in three colour options to choose from – Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. Meanwhile, the V29 Pro is a bit more selective, offering the exquisite Himalayan Blue and Space Black finishes.

The Vivo V29 comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, priced for ₹32,999, and there's the 12 GB RAM variant with 256 GB of storage, available at ₹36,999. On the other hand, the Vivo V29 Pro offers a choice between 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, with a price tag of ₹39,999, and 12 GB of RAM and the same 256 GB of storage, priced for ₹42,999.
