The Vivo X Fold3 Pro is the latest folding smartphone from Vivo, and is priced at Rs. 1,59,999 in India. The flagship smartphone features the popular book-style form factor, with a full-sized and full-function 6.53-inch cover screen, and 8.03-inch main screen when unfolded. Apart from this, it's also powered by flagship hardware, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor under the hood, along with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Although the 8.03-inch main screen may not sound big as compared to the 6.53-inch cover screen, it has a much wider 4:3.55 ratio that provides a lot more screen real estate when unfolded. There's also a Zeiss-badged triple-camera setup at the rear - similar to the one on the Vivo X100 Pro - featuring a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera, and 64MP Zeiss telephoto camera. The Zeiss camera also doubles up for portrait shooting duties, and features Zeiss' popular bokeh modes.
The Vivo X Fold3 Pro also comes with the promise of durability, thanks to a carbon fibre hinge mechanism which is rated for up to 100 folds per day for 12 years, as per Vivo. The smartphone also comes with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It's also touted as the slimmest folding smartphone in India, with a thickness of a little over 11mm when folded and just around 5mm when unfolded.
You also get high-resolution AMOLED screens for both the cover and main display. Although it's definitely on the expensive side, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro is rather well-equipped and will appeal to flagship smartphone buyers looking for a foldable device.
