Vivo X100 series comes with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and Zeiss-branded camera setup

Pick your poison!

Vivo's newest X100 series has hit the markets in China! The line up follows last year's X90 series and brings two models – the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro.

Both phones pack the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, offering up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage and run on Android 14-based OriginOS 4.  The smartphones boast Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras setup. The Vivo X100 has a 50MP main camera with a customised IMX920 sensor, a 50MP ultra wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto camera featuring a periscope lens with sweet macro skills. The X100 Pro, on the other hand, sports the same trio of cameras but jazzes it up with a beefier IMX989 sensor for the main shooter.

Additionally, the Vivo X100 Pro is also touted to be the company's first phone to have a telephoto lens certified by Zeiss APO. Not stopping there, the smartphone flaunts Vivo's in-house imaging chip V3 which is said to process 4K video, shoot and edit 4K portrait videos and protect skin tones.

Both the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro boast a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, offering a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. To top it off, they employ 8T LTPO tech and 2160Hz PWM dimming to ensure a flicker-free visual feast.

When it comes to juicing up these powerhouses, the X100 packs a 5000mAh battery claimed to charge from 50 percent to full in just 11 minutes with the phone's 120W fast charger. Meanwhile, the Pro flexes a larger 5400mAh battery, reaching that halfway mark in a mere 12.5 minutes via its 100W fast charger, as per Vivo. The Pro even supports 50W wireless charging for that cord-free convenience.

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro come with price tags at 3,999 yuan (approx ₹45,600) and 4,999 yuan (approx ₹57,000), respectively. The devices strut their stuff in four shades – Star Trail Blue, White Moonlight, Chen Ye Black, and Sunset Orange. Vivo's teasing us with promises of soon revealing the launch details for these smartphones in India. Keep stuffing for more deets on Vivo 100X series.
