Vivo Y29 is the brand’s latest budget-friendly smartphone

The Vivo Y29 is a budget-friendly addition to the brand’s Y series, offered in three colour variants – Glacier Blue, Titanium Gold, and Diamond Black. Starting at ₹13,999, it provides an accessible choice for those seeking a practical and affordable smartphone.

The smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and an LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits of brightness. Certified by TÜV Rheinland, the display is designed to offer comprehensive eye protection by minimising harmful blue light emissions. Additionally, the device features dual stereo speakers. 

The smartphone has a 50MP HD rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It also includes a variety of Scene Modes, such as slow-motion video and portrait modes. Additional features include AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase.

This model also marks Vivo's first smartphone in this segment to offer Military Grade Resistance and SGS certification. The phone is built for durability, featuring a comprehensive cushioning structure and IP64-rated dust and water resistance. Paired with a wave crest phone case, Vivo says the cushioning structure provides "drop-resistant armour," offering added protection against accidental drops and impacts.

The Vivo Y29 is powered by a 5500mAh battery and supports 44W FlashCharge. Pricing starts at ₹13,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, ₹15,499 for the 6GB+128GB variant, ₹16,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, and ₹18,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.
