Xiaomi 14 CIVI is a mid-priced version of the brand's flagship series

Offers cinematic vision from ₹42,999

Xiaomi’s third variant in the 14 series is curiously named CIVI (for Cinematic Vision) and is an affordable version of the flagship, powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The phone retains most of the Leica camera talents of the Xiaomi 14, the most noteworthy omission being the 75mm equivalent portrait camera.

The phone, available in Matcha Green, Cruise Blue and Shadow Black finishes with 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB memory options. The three colour variants have their unique design characteristics. The phone adopts the floating quad curve display from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision certification and is capable of reproducing 68+ billion colours. The display also provides cinematic viewing experience. A Gorilla Glass Victus 2 panel protects the screen. The Xiaomi 14 CIVI uses a 4700mAh battery and comes with a 67W turbo charger in the box. The device uses Xiaomi's HyperOS for a smooth and connected experience.

The CIVI retains the photography smarts from its predecessors complete with a Leica Summilux lens along with the optically stabilised 50MP f/1.63 Light Hunter 800 primary sensor. Xiaomi promises natural bokeh effect with a shallow depth of field with this combo. The 50MP primary camera is aided by a 50mm equivalent telephoto lens and a 12MP Leica ultra-wide lens. The camera offers Leica’s custom tuning and Leica photography modes that are signatures of the 14 series. A dual 32MP selfie camera completes the setup, combining a wide-angle and an ultra-wide-angle lens. A suite of AI-powered features will be unlocked with a public beta coming later.

The Xiaomi 14 CIVI 8GB/256GB variant is priced at ₹42,999, while the 12GB/512GB version commands a ₹47,999 price tag.
