Xiaomi has unveiled double delight in China with the reveal of their Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphones. It has also introduced the HyperOS interface, which we told you about a while back. The Xiaomi 14 series smartphones come pre-loaded with HyperOS right out of the box. The smartphones are also getting their passports ready for a global launch, including a stopover in India, in the next few months.
The Pro model boasts a 6.73-inch 2K resolution AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. This screen has 3000 nits peak brightness and a pixel density at 522ppi. Under the hood, it's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, running on the Android 14 operating system, with the fancy HyperOS UI on top.
When it comes to photography, the Pro model flaunts a triple-camera setup on the back, starring a 50MP sensor with a variable aperture that can go up to f/4.0, another 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, there's a 32MP camera on the front. And to keep the lights on, it packs a 4880mAh battery that supports both lightning-fast 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 14, on the other side, flaunts a 6.36-inch 1.5K resolution OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Xiaomi boasts that this screen is a real dazzler, with a peak brightness that can crank up to 3000 nits and a pixel density of 460 ppi. Under the hood, it also has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with Android 14 while sporting Xiaomi's signature HyperOS interface
It packs a 50MP main sensor with a Leica Summilux lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens for all your optical zoom and portrait needs. On the front side, you've got a 32MP camera sensor ready for selfies. Then there's a 4,610mAh battery, supported by a speedy 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging
Both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are available in configurations that go up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The starting prices in China are CNY 3,999 (approx ₹45,495) for the Xiaomi 14 and CNY 4,999 (approx ₹56,800) for the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
