Xiaomi EV has formally unveiled its flagship electric sedan, the SU7 Ultra, the sleek saloon is joined by two souped-up siblings – the SU7 “Track Package” and the ultra-exclusive “Nürburgring Limited Edition.” Deliveries have already kicked off across Mainland China.
Xiaomi claims its production model blitzed the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:04.957, making it the fastest lap ever recorded by an electric executive-class vehicle. Even more impressively, a prototype version clocked a staggering 6:22.091, landing third among all EV prototypes ever tested at the Green Hell.
Under the bonnet, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra features the brand’s new Hyper Tri-Motor setup, backed by a high-capacity performance battery and hardcore cooling and braking systems. The car is said to produce 1,548PS, a face-flattening 0–100km/h in 1.98 seconds and a supercar-shaming top speed of 350km/h. Xiaomi says the suspension and chassis were dialled in on the Nürburgring, and judging by its lap times.
If you go for the optional Track Package, you get 21-inch U-spoke forged wheels wrapped in fifth-gen Pirelli P ZERO rubber, with the option of semi-slick TROFEO RS tyres if you fancy a proper circuit session. You also get Bilstein EVO R coilovers, ENDLESS brake pads, a carbon fibre roof, and matching carbon rear wheel arch extensions.
If the Track Package isn’t hardcore enough for you, Xiaomi’s Nürburgring Limited Edition cranks the aggression up to full race mode. It builds on the already extreme kit with carbon fibre racing buckets, complete with a six-point harness, and swaps out the rear seats for a steel half-roll cag. You’ll also find a carbon fibre underbody panel designed specifically for high-speed circuit use, plus carbon-finished trim inside and out, and a few Nürburgring-specific design cues to let the world know this isn’t your average EV saloon.
