The onslaught of Xiaomi devices is upon us. The headliner Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone has all the eyeballs right now but it’s the ₹26,999 Android tablet from Xiaomi that we want to get our mitts on. It’s got all the scintillating spec sheet checklist down to the last feature.
Starting with the 120Hz refresh rate and at this price? Sign us up. There’s also a 2.5K resolution display with DCI-P3 colour gamut and Dolby Atmos sound. Obviously, the entertainment list checks out but throw in a stylus and you can get creative here as well. The Xiaomi Smart Pen has 4096-level pressure sensitivity, touch-sensitive sides and charges magnetically through the Pad 5 (just like the latest Apple iPads).
Throw in a keyboard as well and you can manage a few office emails and some other applications for work. The MIUI for Xiaomi Pad is reworked a bit to support tablet form factor with split-screen and stuff. And you don’t have to worry about power because there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage.
