YouTube ‘Playables’ brings gaming directly to the video streaming platform, currently for Premium users only

Game on, on YT!

You know how YouTube isn't just about cat videos and makeup tutorials anymore? Well, the streaming platform is taking its game a notch higher with its new gaming feature called ‘Playables’! Yes, you guessed it right, you can now also play on Youtube, quite literally.

Playables will let premium users dive straight into gaming action. And it's not just limited to one device. You can use it whether you're using Android, iOS, or kicking back at your desktop.

Accessing the Playables shelf is quite easy, simply scroll down on YouTube's Homepage or find it in the Explore menu on your desktop or smartphone. YouTube's currently serving up a gaming buffet with over 35 arcade and puzzle-style games. Among these, you'll find classics like Angry Birds Showdown, Brain Out, Daily Solitaire, The Daily Crossword, and 8 Ball Billiards Classic.

For now, this gaming extravaganza on YouTube won't last forever, you've got until March 28 to experience Playables in all its glory. Initially tested as an experimental feature back in September, YouTube recently rolled out Playables to its Premium subscribers, prompting them to dive into the games on offer. Whether this will extend to free users post its testing phase remains unconfirmed. Keep stuffing for more scoop on Playables!
