Devialet Dione is the French company’s first soundbar!

The Dione is a 5.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos soundbar that hones all of the brand’s expertise and experience and is designed to be the ultimate in the business. As with all Devialet products we’ve come to experience in the past, the Dione reeks premium.

It has a slick silhouette and is just 77mm tall and features an in-built gyro sensor that detects weather it is wall-mounted or placed on furniture and adapts accordingly. There’s also an app that allows you to scan your room and calibrate the Dione accordingly for the best possible surround sound results.

Devialet has packed in a whopping 17 Devialet-designed neodymium drivers which includes eight long-throw sub-woofers. Devialet has introduced some new technologies with the Dione  but it also incorporates existing proprietary audio technologies. Devialet's SPACE technology upscales any audio content into 3D Dione 5.1.2 audio, Advanced Dimension Experience (ADE) uses beamforming for increased 3D audio immersion, Adaptive Volume Level (AVL) dynamically equalises sound and the ORB technology enables Dione's central sphere to adapt mechanically and acoustically to the soundbar's position.

There are four listening modes on offer – Movie, Spatial, Voice, and Music. Movie and Spatial modes use the SPACE tech to upmix stereo sound into 3D 5.1.2 channel sound, Voice boosts the clarity of voices, while Music mode offers a true stereo setup and disables all spatial audio features. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Spotify Connect, Airplay 2 and a host of traditional connections including HDMI 2.1 eARC.
