Honor unveiled their latest smartphones and laptops at MWC, with emphasis on AI-powered human-machine interaction. The company unveiled Honor Magic6 Pro smartphone along with its latest laptop, the Honor MagicBook Pro 16.

According to the company, the Honor Magic6 Pro showcases advancements in photography, display, performance, and AI-powered user experiences. The brand also took the wraps off MagicOS 8.0, the latest version of their Android-based operating system that introduces platform-level AI and what the brand calls the industry's first intent-based UI powered by Magic Capsule and Magic Portal, two AI-powererd modules. While the Magic Capsule focusses on providing additional information for efficient multitasking, the Magic Portal takes actions based on human behaviour. The Magic6 Pro brings on-device AI with open-source LlaMA 2, which can complete functions such as Q&A, text creation, and reading comprehension in an offline environment.

The smartphone’s AI-powered Falcon camera system enhances sports photography capabilities with improved capture speeds and clearer snapshots. The AI-powered camera is trained with a wide database and includes AI Motion Sensing Capture, an advanced AI capture algorithm that predicts and captures decisive moments in ultra-high definition. The latest generation covers a wider range of activities such as jumping, dancing, and martial arts. The camera system also debuts a 180MP telephoto camera with an f/2.6 lens sporting OIS. The high-resolution sensor facilitates 2.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. This is complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP main camera with dual aperture (f/1.4 and f/2.0) and OIS).

Other features of the smartphone include a drop-resistant screen glass, a 6.8-inch All-range Low-power LTPO Eye Comfort display with 4320Hz PWM dimming, dynamic dimming, customisable Circadian Night Display, and Nature Tone feature. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform and houses an all-new 5600 mAh Honor second-generation Silicon-carbon battery with Honor E1, a battery management chipset for energy efficiency enhancement.

The Honor Magic 6 Pro features 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM and is priced at 1299 Euros (approximately ₹1.16 lakh). The phone is available in Black and Epi Green colours. Honor teased the Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR and also brought the Porsche Design Honor Magic V2 RSR foldable smartphone to the global stage for the first time. Paying tribute to iconic Porsche cars, the Porsche Design Honor Magic V2 RSR is available in Agate Grey with prices starting at 2699 Euros (approximately ₹2,42 lakh).
