MWC 2024: Lenovo could unveil transparent laptop, suggest reports

Peer into a high-tech crystal ball!

Lenovo is (reportedly) about to unveil a laptop that's going to give "see-through" a new meaning. If the buzz is to be believed, the company is gearing up to introduce a laptop model with a transparent design at the MWC 2024 to be held from February 26 to February 29 in Barcelona.

Lenovo has been keeping a tight lid on this (as of now), but leaked design renders of a purported transparent laptop have made their way to the internet. According to Windows Report, Lenovo may unveil this concept at MWC 2024. The design renders of the rumoured Lenovo transparent laptop show a sleek, bezel-less design with the Lenovo branding, and a seemingly see-through display. The internal components seem to be placed in and under the opaque chin, keeping them out of sight.

The reflective and transparent deck adds a futuristic twist to the design. There is also an opaque frame bordering the entire deck, which could house multiple connectivity ports. However, the report didn't reveal any information regarding its specifications, but it did mention that the model runs on Windows 11 right out-of-the-box. It also suggests the design looks closer to a dual-screen laptop than a traditional one.

Popular leaker Evan Blass has also shared a couple of images of Lenovo’s transparent laptop concept ahead of its presumed unveiling. The leaked press image showcases two of these concept laptops placed on a desk, with one device being seen through the transparent screen of another.
