Google is taking its AI-powered Search, AI Mode, global by adding support for five additional languages – Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese. This means users can now interact with Google’s advanced AI features in their own language, making it easier to ask complex questions, get detailed answers, and explore the web more intuitively, without language barriers holding them back.
Currently, AI Mode appears as a dedicated tab on the search results page and a button in the search bar. Initially launched in March as an experimental feature for Google One AI Premium subscribers, it’s powered by a tailored version of Gemini 2.5, designed for advanced reasoning and multimodal responses.
