Computex is around the corner, and all PC companies are going to start releasing their over-the-top products and gaming monitors stack high on that list for Asus ROG. The ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG are being touted as the world’s first 32-inch 4K WOLED gaming monitors to feature a new TrueBlack Glossy film. This special anti-reflective panel coating is designed to significantly slash ambient reflections, keeping those deep OLED blacks truly black, even if you're gaming under bright lights, while still offering matte-like glare suppression without sacrificing clarity. Something like what Apple did with the iPad Pro with M4 chips.

Both monitors sport gorgeous 32-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) WOLED panels with a blistering 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time, perfect for fast-paced action. The key difference between the two models lies in their refresh rates. The XG32UCWMG can hit up to 240Hz in its native 4K resolution. However, both monitors feature a clever "Dual mode" accessible via an onscreen toggle. This allows gamers to switch to a Full HD resolution to achieve even higher refresh rates for esports titles: the XG32UCWMG can reach an astounding 480Hz in FHD, while the XG32UCWG (which runs at 165Hz in 4K) can hit 330Hz in FHD.
To keep things looking sharp and clear, Asus has included its Clear Pixel Edge algorithm to reduce red-green fringing on text and fine lines. For smooth gameplay, both monitors feature Extreme Low Motion Blur and OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technologies, even with variable refresh rate enabled (they are G-Sync compatible and FreeSync Premium Pro certified). There's also built-in aspect-ratio control for 24- and 27-inch window sizes, optimised for competitive FPS games.

Worried about OLED burn-in? Asus has integrated its OLED Care Pro suite, which includes occasional pixel refreshes, image shifting, and logo brightness limitation. A new Neo Proximity sensor is also on board, which detects when you move away from the monitor and automatically dims the screen to protect the panel, waking it instantly upon your return. This detection distance is customisable. For extra peace of mind, Asus is backing both monitors with a comprehensive three-year burn-in warranty.
Connectivity is generous, with two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with 15-watt power delivery, a USB hub, and a headphone jack. While we have no exact word on the pricing, the moment we find out, you’ll be the first to know, so stay tuned!
