Apple has unveiled the new iPad Air with M3, available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, starting at ₹59,900. Under the hood, the M3 chip features an 8-core CPU and 9-core GPU, bringing features like dynamic caching, hardware-accelerated mesh shading, and ray tracing for smoother graphics.

The M3-powered iPad Air is fully equipped for Apple Intelligence, bringing a range of smart features tailored for the iPad experience. Photos get a boost with the new Clean Up tool. Searching for memories is now easier with Enhanced Search, allowing natural language queries to find specific photos and videos effortlessly. Creativity takes centre stage with Image Wand in Notes, which refines rough sketches into polished visuals, while Image Playground generates images from text prompts in seconds.

Apple has also given Siri a major upgrade, integrating it with ChatGPT for more intuitive responses. Meanwhile, System-wide Writing Tools enhance text input across apps, making writing, editing, and rephrasing easier.

The M3-powered iPad Air has serious gaming chops too. With dynamic caching, hardware-accelerated mesh shading, and ray tracing, it promises up to four times the performance of the M1 model, as per Apple.

Apple has also refreshed the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Air. It now comes with a built-in trackpad, a 14-key function row for quick access to brightness and volume controls, and a machined aluminium hinge with a USB-C port for charging. It snaps on magnetically and connects via the Smart Connector, so no Bluetooth pairing is needed.
