Asus has unveiled the NUC 14 Pro AI, a compact mini-PC featuring up to Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 processors (Series 2) with a hybrid architecture that fuses CPU, GPU, and NPU tech. With a 120 platform TOPS and 48 NPU TOPS, Asus claims it’s three times faster in AI performance compared to its predecessor. The mini-PC looks suitable for edge computing, IoT setups, or heavy-duty commercial tasks.
Asus’ latest mini-PC, the NUC 14 Pro AI also features Microsoft Copilot+ and claims the title of the world’s first AI-enabled mini-PC. It combines advanced AI functionality with a compact design and includes an internal digital microphone, a built-in mono speaker, and support for external smart amplifiers.

For connectivity, it features Intel Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a variety of ports, including Thunderbolt 4 (DP2.1), USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, HDMI, and 2.5G LAN. Plus, it supports triple-display output via HDMI and Thunderbolt ports. For security, it offers TPM 2.0 or fTPM 2.0 options, plus a fingerprint module. The front I/O includes a Thunderbolt 4 port, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, a power button, a copilot button, and an audio jack. Weighing 0.53kg, this compact mini-PC is powered by a 120W adapter.
