BMW M 1000 RR is a 212hp beast that will make your wallet scream

RR you ready?

Are you the kind of person who has enough money to buy a small island? Or, you know, the type of person who keeps their bike in the living room and treats it better than most family members (you know who you are). Well, if this sounds like you, you’ll be interested to know that BMW has just launched their new M1000 RR bike in India, and you guessed it, it’s expensive! We're talking ₹49 lakhs but hey, if you really want to splurge, you can go for the M Competition Package and shell out an extra ₹6 lakh. Might as well, right? Who needs a retirement fund anyway?

Now, let's get to the important stuff. This bike is a beast on wheels. It's got a liquid-cooled, 999cc engine that produces a mind-blowing 212hp. If you thought that wasn't impressive enough, the M 1000 RR is also lighter than its sibling, the S 1000 RR.

The M 1000 RR comes with a full suite of electronic rider aids. We're talking 7 riding modes, switchable ABS and traction control. If you opt for the M Competition Package, you also get a GPS data logger, carbon-fibre aero covers, and a swing arm that's as light as a feather.

So, if you've got the cash to spare and a need for speed, the BMW M 1000 RR might just be the bike for you. Just remember, you'll still be saving a few lakhs compared to its rival, the Ducati Panigale V4 R. Just tell your mothers to make some space in the living room!
