Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release announced

Get your finger back on the trigger

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has had its release date announced. The game is scheduled to be released on Friday, 10th of November. The game picks up immediately after the events of Modern Warfare II, ensuring a seamless continuation of the narrative. There are also new gameplay features for multiplayer and single-player modes added as well.

The story will include Open Combat Missions along with its traditional cinematic gameplay injecting a fresh dimension, and allowing players to strategise and navigate the battlefield using vehicles, tactical equipment, and various paths. This new layer of choice ensures an engaging single-player experience. The campaign is called “Adapt or Die in a Fight Against the Ultimate Threat“ adding to the making your own choices theme.

The multiplayer aspect is set to be a highlight, celebrating the franchise's legacy. Classic maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been modernized while preserving their authenticity. Additionally, brand-new maps and modes like "Cutthroat" provide a brand-new multiplayer experience. The new maps included three Battle Maps which are large-scale locations where the Ground War and Invasion game modes will be fought and a single colossal map for the return and evolution of the legendary War Mode. The introduction of "Tac-Stance" and "After-Market Parts" should make player customization serious and unique.

Modern Warfare III's Zombies mode unveils an all-new open-world experience. Players will collaborate to fend off hordes of the undead in the franchise's largest Zombies map. The Missions are set in different regions all with different and escalating difficulties like last time. The incorporation of the Dark Aether Zombies story into the Modern Warfare universe is something we all look forward to.
