CES 2025: Royal Enfield’s Flying Flea to be Powered by Qualcomm

Royal Enfield’s Flying Flea turned heads in Milan during its November 2024 debut, now at CES 2025, the spotlight shifted to its tech. The brand revealed a partnership with Qualcomm to supercharge its electric Flying Flea range. Featuring the Snapdragon QWM2290 SoC and Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud Platform, these bikes are primed to be among the first two-wheelers globally to embrace connected services.

Purpose-built for two-wheelers, the Snapdragon QWM2290 SoC integrates advanced connectivity and control into the Flying Flea motorcycles. It powers a custom-developed operating system that manages vehicle operations and rider experience through an interactive, true-round TFT display.

The Snapdragon QWM2290 SoC and Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud platform equip the Flying Flea with secure connectivity through 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, enabling communication between rider and machine. Riders can enjoy a user-friendly interface, intuitive controls, and a Voice Assist button, as per Qualcomm. The bike will come with five pre-set ride modes and customisable combinations tailored to terrain and preferences, it will also recognise smartphones as smart keys for unlocking and starting.
