Dyson has rolled out the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet air purifier, designed to purify the air in spaces covering up to 1,076 square feet. It operates at 56 decibels, making it Dyson's most hushed purifier to date. Dyson employs a 'Broadband Helmholtz' silencer to capture sound energy and disperse low-frequency noises, ensuring a quieter air purification experience.
Leveraging Cone Aerodynamics, the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet is capable of projecting purified air up to a distance of 10 metres. This technology harnesses the 'Coanda' effect by combining two airstreams, resulting in a concentrated and potent stream of air. In comparison to earlier iterations of Dyson air purifiers, it doubles the airflow capacity, Dyson says. The Purifier Big+Quiet allows you to direct purified air at varying angles – choose between zero degrees, 25 degrees, and 50 degrees to suit your preferences.
The Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet also has a dedicated 'Breeze mode,' a software algorithm that controls the air jet to replicate natural breeze patterns by oscillating in an up-and-down motion. You can also monitor indoor air quality using the LCD screen and MyDysonTM app. The MyDysonTM app can serve as a remote controller also, even when you’re away.
According to Dyson, the air purifier has enhanced filtration capabilities, it can effectively capture harmful pollutants like VOCs, NO2, and ozone, which can be found in sources such as tobacco smoke, building materials, and outdoor air pollution. It's equipped with a fully sealed filtration system, achieving a HEPA H-13 rating, ensuring that purified air is released back into the room while trapping pollutants within the filter. This filter lasts for up to two years and can capture approximately 99.95 percent of pollutants, including tiny dust particles and allergens as small as 0.1 microns in size, Dyson says. The Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet is available for a price of ₹68,900.
