Infinix just dropped a gaming phone with shoulder triggers - the GT 30 Pro

And it’s great at keeping it cool

We’ve got some big news for all you mobile gamers - Infinix has just launched its gaming-focused GT 30 Pro smartphone. This phone is engineered for serious play, integrating flagship-grade processing and advanced thermal design. Under the hood, it boasts the world’s first MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, clocking in at 3.35GHz and hitting an AnTuTu score of over 1.5 million.

This powerhouse works with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, which is expandable up to 24GB. This means quicker game scene transitions and super responsive performance.

Visuals are handled by a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits peak brightness. But the real game-changer might be the GT Gaming shoulder triggers. These are customisable and can be mapped to in-game actions like aiming or shooting, giving you a tactical edge. Outside of gaming, you can even assign them to everyday shortcuts such as launching the camera or Google Assistant. Plus, it’s Krafton certified for 120fps BGMI support.

The phone sports a ‘Cyber Mecha’ design 2.0 and comes in two finishes: Dark Flare with customisable RGB LED lighting and Blade White with white LED lighting. The rear panel has programmable LED lights that react to things like charging, incoming calls, or in-game events. Keeping things cool is a large VC cooling system, featuring a 5400 mm.sq. VC cooling area, supported by copper foils, graphite heat dissipation films, and a 3D VC to disperse heat from the CPU, GPU, and battery. This system is 13 percent larger than the previous generation and custom developed by Infinix.

For an even smarter gaming experience, XBOOST AI offers real-time optimisation. Its esports mode blocks distractions and boosts performance. Audio enhancement is increased by 50 percent from the previous generation, letting you sharpen in-game sounds like footsteps and gunfire. AI Image Stabilisation ensures fluid visuals during fast movement, and ZoneTouch Master adapts touch sensitivity to reduce lag. There’s also Bypass Charging, which sends power directly to the motherboard instead of the battery, reducing heat buildup by up to 4 degrees Celsius during intense sessions.

For those who want to take it further, an exclusive GT Gaming Kit is available. It includes a MagCase (required for fan attachment) and a cooling fan. The fan is made of premium aluminium alloy, weighs over 50 grams, operates at 10W power, and has a 4500 RPM fan speed with low noise. It also features RGB LED lights.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro is available in Dark Flare and Blade White. The 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs. 24,999, and the 12GB/256GB variant at Rs. 26,999. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart and other stores starting June 12 with a special Day 1 price of Rs. 22,999 (inclusive of offers) exclusively on Flipkart. The GT Gaming Kit is priced at Rs. 1,999 standalone or Rs. 1,199 when purchased with the smartphone.
