Samsung Galaxy unpacked event is scheduled for February 1, 2023, yes we all know by now, we also know that the brand will showcase their most awaited Galaxy S23. But do you also know what other devices to expect and from where to catch it live?

First things first: The devices. Rumour mills are buzzing that there could be not one, not two but three three new devices for the galaxy fans. Some quick-witted tech enthusiasts also picked clues from the event invite and took three spotlights as the new devices or product categories to be launched. Let’s find out what we think is going to be launched and how you can be a part of the much anticipated event.

What to expect from Samsung’s looming announcement?

One thing is certain (well almost) that you will get to see the brand’s next flagship series smartphone, the Galaxy S23 in the upcoming event scheduled. Going by Samsung’s track record, we can safely say that the brand never sticks to one variant or even one product line so we hope there is going to be a S23 Plus and an Ultra variant too. Plus, we might also see new Galaxy Buds or the anticipated follow-up tablets to the Galaxy Tab S8 that was launched with the Galaxy S22 about a year ago. After all, Samsung likes to show off fuller space on the stage just like the last Galaxy Unpacked event from August 2022, when the brand launched the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 along with a host of other products, including the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds Pro 2.  Interestingly, there are also a couple of (formal) leaks about Samsung’s proprietary accessories including a Smart Clear View Cover for the Galaxy S23 lineup. We also hope Samsung’s other official case lineups also make a return, including the LED View Covers and the Silicone Covers with Straps.

How to be a part of the Galaxy unpacked event?

The Galaxy Unpacked event will be the first in-person event post the pandemic. It will take place in San Francisco on February 1 from 12pm in the UK i.e 5:30 pm in India. The unpacked event will be live-streamed and can be watched via the brand’s website or their YouTube channel.

Speculated Price?

The cost of the new Galaxy S23 for the European region has surfaced online.

According to the leaks, the base Galaxy S23 can cost around €959 (around ₹83,334) for the 8GB + 128GB version and the Galaxy S23 Plus 8GB + 256GB can cost around €1219 (around ₹1,07,214) while the Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to come at a starting price of €1419 (around ₹1,24,832).

Samsung Wallet is coming to India!

The brand is also set to launch their new Wallet app in India. It is an easy and secure way to organise and access your important documents. From identification cards to educational docs to back paperwork and even digital keys to travel passes, everything can be kept safe in the digital wallet and can be accessed with just a swipe. The Samsung Wallet platform is protected by the brand’s proprietary- Samsung Knox. So it uses fingerprint recognition and encryption to make sure everything inside the wallets remains safe against malware and potential digital and physical hacking attempts.
