Samsung has revealed the Project Moohan, its first-ever Android XR headset, built in collaboration with Google. This full-fledged, over-the-head device is similar to Apple Vision Pro.
Moohan features a high-res display, a wide field of view, pass-through functionality and versatile multi-modal input. Designed as a virtual workspace, it will integrate key Google services—think Google Maps for navigation, YouTube for media streaming, and Gemini AI for smart assistance.
It will also support a wide range of mobile and tablet apps via the Google Play Store. Additionally, Samsung and Google are working on exclusive native apps, including an upgraded YouTube experience with a virtual screen and a revamped Google Photos app capable of displaying images in 3D.

Reportedly Moohan runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chipset. It also comes with an external battery, and if you need extra juice, you can hook up larger battery packs via USB-C for extended sessions.
