Netflix comes up with gaming on your big screen

Damn, movies and games?

Your favourite movie streaming platform brings you some interactive entertainment for your big screen. Netflix is quite new with games, only just making mobile games available on the Netflix mobile app but now Netflix is starting up a Beta test where they will make two games available on the TV and Desktop devices. Sadly, the beta is only rolling out for select devices in Canada and the United Kingdom.

What are the games? Well, Oxenfree from Night School Studio, a Netflix Game Studio, and Molehew’s Mining Adventure, a gem-mining arcade game will be introduced during the beginning of the test with future updates bringing more. When it comes to the controller you won't have to use your pesky TV controller but can use your own smartphones to game. For the ones playing on their Desktops a mouse and keyboard control layout will also be available.

Netflix claims this limited beta is meant to test their game streaming technology, and controller and to improve the member experience over time. For this, they are making this feature available in partnered devices such as Amazon Fire TV Streaming Media Players, Chromecast with Google TV, LG TVs, Nvidia Shield TV, Roku devices and TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, and Walmart ONN. Additional devices will be added on an ongoing basis.
