CMF Phone 1, Buds Pro 2, Watch Pro 2 are here, and they're colourful AF

Nothing's junior brand continues to push the affordable colour wave

After much chatter, the CMF Phone 1 is here, with the CMF Buds Pro 2 true wireless earphones and CMF Watch Pro 2 smartwatch in tow. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and available in four interesting colour options, the latest smartphone from CMF by Nothing is priced at Rs. 15,999 for the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also an 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant available for Rs. 17,999. The new smartphone goes on sale on Flipkart, the CMF India website, and select retailers on July 12.

The CMF by Nothing Phone 1 is the first smartphone from the junior brand of radical smartphone maker Nothing, which was started not too long ago by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. The CMF brand - which draws on the philosophy of colours, materials, finish - has a strong focus on radical design. However, the products are positioned as budget-friendly and entry-level options, distinguishing from the much more premium positioning of the Nothing brand.

Interestingly, the CMF Phone 1 gets a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and runs on Android 14. There is also dual-SIM connectivity with support for 5G networks, and a dual-camera setup at the back with a 50-megapixel primary camera.

Also launched alongside the CMF Phone 1 is the latest true wireless headset from the brand - the CMF by Nothing Buds Pro 2. The new earphones get a smart dial on the charging case, which is said to let you adjust the volume or change listening modes. The earphones are priced at Rs. 4,299, and go on sale on July 12 in four colour options.

The new Buds Pro 2 also come with active noise cancellation, LDAC Bluetooth codec support, and IP55 dust and water resistance. There is USB Type-C fast charging, spatial audio support, and app support as well.

Finally, the CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2 has also been launched, at a price of Rs. 4,999 onwards depending on the colour and material variant chosen. The orange and blue options come with vegan leather straps, and are priced a bit higher at Rs. 5,499 in India. The new smartwatch will also go on sale on July 12 on Flipkart.

The CMF Watch Pro 2 has a 1.32-inch AMOLED circular display with a resolution of 466x466 pixels. Health tracking features include heart rate, blood oxygen, and menstrual cycle tracking. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.3 and location tracking through GPS and other satellite tracking protocols. There is a claimed battery life of 11 days per charge, and you also get 120 sports tracking modes and over 100 watch faces for customisation.
