OnePlus is all set to launch its flagship TWS buds in India. Dubbed the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, the earbuds are out to set a new standard for Spatial Audio with exciting new features for Android users, developed for Android 13. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will begin its launch in markets outside China on February 7, 2023.
Becoming one of the first TWS earbuds to adopt Google’s signature spatial audio feature, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 produce a multi-dimensional experience within a pair of tiny earbuds. As a result, the sound always emanates from a fixed location regardless of movement and has the same 3D audio quality as in a movie theatre.
The Buds Pro 2's spatial audio has been enhanced by OnePlus in conjunction with Google to replicate the immersive, three-dimensional experience enjoyed in cinemas. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 elevate the spatial audio capability by utilising OnePlus' spatial rendering algorithm and IMU sensor, adding stability, compatibility with app expansions, and opening up its technology to other applications.
With Android's Fast Pair function, which enables rapid connections to nearby Android devices with a single tap, the Buds Pro 2 works more efficiently. The Buds Pro 2 can connect to two Android smartphones at once and seamlessly switch the audio between them based on your actions, all without having to fuss with Bluetooth settings thanks to Android's audio-switching feature.
Furthermore, OnePlus has created a custom stereo up-mixing algorithm to produce multi-dimensional sound from popular music and video apps, taking into account the compatibility of the majority of audio sources on the market.
