Now, OpenAI is ready to take things to the next level by releasing an Android app. So if you are an Android user you’ll very soon have the power of ChatGPT right at your fingertips, whenever and wherever you need it!
Via a tweet, OpenAI confirmed ChatGPT is coming to Android this week but it’s keeping us on our toes with the exact release date. The tweet, however, has a link to a pre-register page on Google Play Store. Just hit that button and you'll be among the first to get your hands on the magic once it's available! The iOS folks already got a taste of ChatGPT on iPhones and iPads back in May, so now it's your turn to join the party.
If you've been using ChatGPT on another platform, you can continue with the same account on the Android app. Your conversation history stays in sync too; that means your Android app will have all your previous conversations neatly preserved and ready to pick up right where you left off.
