Red Bull F1 Showrun 2023: Everything you need to know ahead of the event

It gives you so much more than wiings!

Are you ready to hear the roar of the V8 engine once more? The reigning F1 champions, Red Bull Racing, are all set to bring their adrenaline-pumping Showrun to Mumbai this Sunday, March 12. If that's not exciting enough, the legendary thirteen-time F1 race winner, David Coulthard, will be driving none other than our beloved Sebastian Vettel's 2011 championship-winning car, the RB7, on the streets of Bandra!

If you're planning to attend this high-octane event, here are some tips to keep your experience as enjoyable as possible. Firstly, if you are slightly sensitive to sound, make sure to carry some earplugs because the 2.4-litre V8 engine, producing up to 750hp, is pretty loud, to say the least! Secondly, you will definitely want to carry a pair of sunglasses. Apart from the obvious sunshine and heat reasons, you may need it to hide the tears. Trust us when we say, that sound is enough to make a grown man cry. That said, if you aren’t one of the lucky folks who have secured yourself a ticket in advance, you may have to wait for another Showrun in the future, or move heaven and earth to get your hands on some on such short notice.

However, for those of you who do have a ticket, make sure to note the entry points. Entry 1 is for the RB7 Arena, BBRT Arena, Diamond Arena 1 and 2, HSBC Starstruck Lounge, Pit Stop Arena, and the FORB and WIIINGS Arena. Entry 2 is for the Smart Bazaar and Gold Arenas, while Entry 3 is for General Access passes.

While you are at it, you may want to abide by the rules. On the long list of things you can carry are binoculars, cell phones, portable chargers, and sunscreen (in non-aerosol containers). On the other hand, for obvious reasons, you won’t be allowed to carry any sharp objects, drones, sound systems, flammable items, or cigarettes and alcohol.

The Mumbai Red Bull Showrun is going to be a typical Red Bull event that you won't want to miss. So, come along and witness the jaw-dropping stunts of Arunas 'Aras' Gibieza, one of the world's best pro stunt riders, and the roaring engine of the RB7. And if you're lucky, you might even get to meet Coulthard himself! Just remember to use public transport, carry your earplugs, sunglasses, and binoculars and have a rocking good time! Gates open at 8 am and the event shall begin at 10 am
