Xiaomi has unveiled the anticipated Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro in China, bringing quite a lot to the table. The smartphones pack Snapdragon chipsets, 120Hz AMOLED displays, and the latest HyperOS 2.0 software.
The Redmi K80 series, including the base K80 and the Pro variant, both feature a 6.67-inch, 12-bit AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The displays feature a peak brightness of 3,200 nits, a 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Under the hood, the K80 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the K80 Pro gets the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Both models come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, all running on the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0.

For photography, the Redmi K80 sports a dual rear camera setup – a 50MP primary camera with OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The K80 Pro takes it a step further, keeping the same primary camera combo but adding a 50MP floating telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom.
Battery-wise, the K80 is powered by a 6,000mAh unit with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The K80 Pro comes with a 6,550mAh battery and 90W fast charging. The K80 starts at CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 29,000), while the K80 Pro kicks off at CNY 3,699 (about Rs. 43,000).
