Samsung is bringing its latest One UI 8 Watch update to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, giving the wearable a refreshed look and improved health tracking smarts. The update enhances how key stats are displayed, making it easier to check your vitals at a glance.
The Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic already come preloaded with One UI 8 Watch, so this rollout brings the Ultra model up to speed with the Watch 8 series.

Among the highlights is the new Antioxidant Index, which uses the BioActive Sensor to measure carotenoid levels in seconds—offering a quick snapshot of your body’s antioxidant capacity. For sleep tracking, the new Bedtime Guidance tool analyses three days of sleep patterns to suggest optimal rest windows, taking into account circadian rhythms and accumulated sleep pressure.
The update also introduces a Vascular Load metric that tracks cardiovascular stress during sleep, giving users early insights into potential heart health issues.
For runners, there’s a new Running Coach that analyses performance after a twelve-minute run and then builds a custom training plan for the next three to five weeks.
Meanwhile, the Energy Score offers a daily estimate of your physical and mental energy levels, factoring in sleep, activity, and heart rate variability. And for those high-stress days, the watch can now send alerts when stress levels spike, along with guided breathing exercises via the built-in Mindfulness Tracker.
